1. Accounting

The F&A unit is responsible for daily record keeping and maintaining an accurate history of the company’s financial records by preparing different financial statements.

2. Examining financial statements and reporting

The F&A unit is also responsible for checking and analyzing the company’s financial data. It helps evaluate economic trends, identify any material error and take corrective measures.

3. Preparing and forecasting budgets

The F&A unit plans and implements the company's financial year budget. This information is essential in planning and providing informed decisions critical for the management decision making process.

5. Establishing internal controls

Another part of the F&A unit’s activity is ensuring that there are no errors or fraudulent activity in the company’s financial transactions. It does so by establishing internal control measures and procedures.

6. Payroll Services

The F&A unit handles all aspects of payroll process that encompass salary disbursement, OT/DA, leave encashment. gratuity and incentive bonus.

7. Tax Services

The F&A unit makes sure that IWM complies with the relevant VAT & TAX rules of NBR. It prepares the necessary VAT/TAX filing and ensures submitting to appropriate authority on time.

8. Banking Services

The F&A unit handles IWM’s banking operation that includes ensuring storage of cash and valuables in appropriate bank account, fund transfer, FOREX services, investment activities, bank guarantee activities.
