Mr. Shafique did his diploma in Civil Engineering from Barisal Polytechnic institute in 1993 and later completed graduation in Civil Engineering from Stamford University Bangladesh in 2007.
Professional Track Record
Mr. Shafiqul Islam has a professional experience is more than 14 years in the field of Topographic and Hydrographic survey. He started his professional career with IWM from September 1994. He has been exclusively engaged in Hydrographic and Topographic field data collection and processing by advanced survey equipments like DGPS, Digital Echo sounder, ADCP, Current Meter and the related software. He is experienced in the preparation of Maps using ArcView GIS. He is also responsible for the update of the inventory of equipment and accessories in hard copy register as well as computer. Keep up to date information of new equipment and software in the technological heights as equipment manager (in charge).
