Academic Chronology
Mr. Mohammad Faiez Ahamed Shipon embarked on his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh, completed in June 2021.
Professional Track Record
Mr. Mohammad Faiez Ahamed Shipon has been working with the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) since 2022, contributing to a wide range of water supply and sewerage projects across Bangladesh. He has developed strong expertise in hydraulic modelling, water distribution and transmission network design, preparation of mapping, and preparation of detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical reports. He has been actively involved in field data collection, verification, and analysis data and design using Bentley WaterGEMS and ArcGIS software, supporting the preparation of feasibility and detailed design reports. Notable projects include pipeline design under DESWSP for Dhaka WASA, Khulna Sewerage System Development Project, Detail Drawing on Appropriate Water Supply in Coastal Areas, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project under DPHE, and the Environmental and Social Compliance Study for the Rohingya Response Project. This experience demonstrates his ability to deliver technically accurate water supply designs, manage field team for data collection and analysis, and support sustainable water supply and sanitation systems.
