Academic Chronology

Mr. Salah Uddin completed his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) in September 2003. In 2009, he obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He further pursued advanced studies abroad and, in 2011, earned a second Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Hydrogeology and Environmental Geoscience from the University of Göttingen, Germany.

Mr. Mohammad Salah Uddin has over 20 years of experience in groundwater hydrology, surface water–groundwater interaction modelling, groundwater management, irrigation planning, and wetland management.

Mr. Mohammad Salah Uddin is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (F/15498). Over the course of his career, he has undertaken extensive professional training on groundwater modelling (MIKE SHE, MODFLOW, FEFLOW), irrigation system design and planning, isotope technology, climate change adaptation, and water quality monitoring. He has also delivered numerous training programs for professionals from IWM, BWDB, WARPO, DPHE, DWASA, BMDA, BCMCL, and international agencies, including the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS), Malaysia.
