Academic Chronology

Mr. Mohammad Tofail Islam completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) in July 2010 and joined IWM in February 2011. He completed a Master of Science Program in Water Resources Engineering (WRE) at Bangladesh University and Engineering and Technology (BUET) in September 2019.



Professional Track Record

Mr. Mohammad Tofail Islam has a professional career of more than 12 years in the field of Satellite-based Survey and data collection techniques. He has expertise in planning and managing various engineering surveys including Multibeam and Single beam Bathymetric surveys, Topographic Survey by using Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) and RTK-GPS and other hydrological data collections like Discharge measurements by using ADCP and Water Level observation etc. Besides, he is experienced in the assessment of dredging requirements, dredging monitoring and dredge volume calculation including survey reporting the same.
