Academic Chronology

Mr. Hasnat Rahman earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) in June 2023.

Professional Track Record

Mr. Hasnat has been working as a Junior Engineer at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) since January 2024. He has contributed to key assignments including the Feasibility Study for Improvement of Water Supply Network with District Metered Area (DMA) System for Rajshahi City Corporation and the Updating of the Sewerage Master Plan for Dhaka City. His responsibilities include hydraulic modelling for water supply, hydrodynamic and sewerage systems; application of mathematical models to assess impacts on urban watersheds; GIS-based data processing and analysis; preparation of maps and technical drawings; participation in field surveys; and technical reporting. He is an associate member of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).

Mr. Hasnat has received several trainings, including:

• Groundwater Modelling (February 2025, IWM, Dhaka).
• Basics of Civil 3D (April 2025, IWM).
• City Wide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS) (April 2025, jointly organized by Seureca Veolia, IWM, and DevConsultants Limited).
• Sewage Treatment & Sustainable Sludge Management Technology (August 2025, jointly organized by Seureca Veolia, IWM, and DevConsultants Limited).
