Academic Chronology
Md. Ashraful Islam graduated in Civil Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology in 2014. He obtained an M. Sc. in Water Resources Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology Sydney in 2020. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman in Water Resources Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
Professional Track Record
He has more than 8 years of experience in water resources management projects and research activities at IWM covering physically based mathematical modelling for surface water, groundwater, groundwater salinity; collection of hydrological, water quality data; analysis of data; information gathering from filed relevant to drinking water sources in terms of quality and quantity; assessment of drinking water resources especially in coastal polders, research on flash flood predictions in north-east region of Bangladesh, etc.
