Mr. Anowar completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from Rajshahi University and Engineering and Technology (RUET) in October 2001 and joined IWM in January 2002. He started working in Survey and Data Division and presently working in River Engineering Division. He completed a Masters Program from Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM) of Bangladesh University and Engineering and Technology (BUET) in May 2010.
Professional Track Record
Mr. Anowar gathered wide experience in hydrographic, hydrological and morphological data collection activity during his tenure in survey division. He exclusively worked with the modern equipments of IWM all over the country and experienced the different hydrological phenomena which IWM reflects into the Models. Later, he joined in River Engineering division and started working with water modelling software of MIKE series. Till to date, he has been working with MIKE11, MIKE21C, MIKE 21 Flow Model and MIKE Flood modules. Moreover, he has grown expertise in handling several data analysis, processing and mapping software such as HYMOS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, ArcView, Surfer, Excel, etc. during working in IWM with wide range of data and models relating to numerous alluvial rivers and floodplains of Bangladesh.
