Ms. Asmot Ara Alam did her graduation in Civil Engineering from BUET in 1999 and later completed her M. Engineering in Water Resources Engineering from BUET in 2014.

Professional Track Record

Ms. Asmot Ara has professional career of 15 years in Water Resources Engineering. Since joining in IWM as a Hydraulic Engineer in August 2001, she has been actively involved in a number of projects that includes research and studies using mathematical models. Hydrodynamic and morphological modelling experience for 12 years using modelling system MIKE11, MIKE21, MIKE21C of DHI, Denmark. Her responsibilities include model development, data processing, result analysis and interpretation, report writing and preparing project presentation.
