Academic Chronology

Mr. Tanbir completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from DUET, Gazipur in January 2012 and Master of Engineering in Water Resources Engineering from BUET in June 2026.

Professional Track Record

Mr. Tanbir has been serving in the Survey and Data Division of IWM since October 2015. Prior to joining IWM, he worked as a Project Engineer in a construction firm. He possesses strong expertise in hydrological and meteorological data analysis, particularly for water balance studies, dependable flow analysis, exploitable flow calculation, and preparation of surface water resources potential maps. In addition, he has extensive experience in assessing dredging requirements, as well as conducting pre- and post-dredging volume calculations for rivers and canals."
