Mr. Md. Rezaur Rahman completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the Govt. Titumir College in 2013 (exam held in 2015).
Professional Experience
Mr. Md. Rezaur Rahman is a professional with over 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, proposal management, data analysis, and community development.
He currently serves as Program Officer (in-charge) in the Strategic Planning and Business Development (SPB) Unit at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM), Dhaka, since January 2020. In this capacity, he supports institutional strategic planning, conducts sector analyses in water resources, climate adaptation, and sustainable development, and contributes to the development of concept notes, Expressions of Interest (EoIs), and technical and financial proposals in compliance with donor requirements. He also coordinates procurement, monitors project pipelines, and facilitates stakeholder engagements including meetings, seminars, and conferences.
Prior to joining IWM, he worked as an Annotation Specialist at Augmedix Bangladesh, focusing on AI-based medical data processing and quality assurance. Earlier, he served as a Community Development Lead and ICS Volunteer with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO), contributing to community research, youth mobilization, and grassroots development initiatives across Bangladesh. He also gained foundational experience in data research, quality assurance, and auditing as a Data Analyst at Intelligent Image Management Ltd. (IIML).
