Academic Chronology
Mr. Md. Mosiur Rahman completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) in May 2009. He subsequently obtained his Master of Science in Water Resources Development (WRD) from the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), in November 2013.
Professional Track Record
Mr. Mosiur has more than 16 years of professional experience in the field of Water Resources Engineering and Integrated Water Resources Management. He began his professional career at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) in January 2011. As an Associate Specialist, he has been involved in several nationally important projects, utilizing advanced mathematical modeling tools such as MIKE 11, MIKE 21C, and MIKE 21. In addition, he has developed strong expertise in data analysis, processing, and mapping using various software tools, including HYMOS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Excel. During his tenure in the Survey and Data Division of IWM, Mr. Mosiur gained extensive experience in hydrographic and topographic data collection and processing using modern equipment and technologies.
