Mr.Abdullah completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2009. He obtained his M.Sc Degree in Civil Engineering from the same University in 2014.
Since joining at IWM in 2009, Mr. Abdullah has been working in the field of urban water management. His professional experiences cover the field of water supply and leakage management, water & wastewater infrastructure and treatment, water demand management, and water resources management. He has good knowledge on sophisticated equipment and software concerning with survey, modelling, GIS mapping and report writing in the relevant field.
Mr. Abdullah received specialized training on efficient hydraulic modeling (a decision-support tool) by Bentley Systems and water quality modeling by DHI Expert. With the help of several training programs arranged by IWM and different renowned organizations, Mr. Abdullah learned advance knowledge on urban adaptation planning and design especially for climate change, rain water management, water safety plan, environmental and social impact assessment etc. He provided lecture at the several training sessions to government and non-government professionals on efficient urban water management. Mr. Abdullah intermittently involved as a guest lecturer in BUET (M.Sc Class in Civil and Environmental Engineering, as a representative of IWM).
Mr. Abdullah is a member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh. He executed several workshops and seminars as a key presenter of the session. Mr. Abdullah has carried out a number of researches in the field of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, water demand and urban water management.
