Mr. Imran Khan graduated in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology in April 2012. Currently he is pursuing M.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering from the same university.
Since joining IWM in 2012, Mr. Imran Khan was involved in number of important water resources projects including Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Monitoring, Tipaimukh Project. He is specialized in River morphology, Bank protection works, Local scour computation, Sediment transport, Dredging, Hydraulic modelling with MIKE 3, MIKE21C, MIKE 11, MIKE 21FM, MIKE Flood tools of DHI, Water and Environment. He is also proficient in use of a variety of hydraulic, hydrological and GIS software.
Mr. Imran Khan has received specialized training in mathematical modelling on MIKE11, MIKE 3 and ArcGIS. He has also received training on “Bathymetric Surveyâ€Â, “River Erosion Management†and provided training to various professionals on morphological modelling by using MIKE21C.
